Andrea Black: Visual and Written Storyteller
Andrea Black, is a storyteller and crafter who uses the fabrics of her life and experiences, to gain understanding and wisdom of the commonalities of human life, and all the gems we all have to give to one another.
Her stories typically look through the lens of curiosity of: family dynamics, politics and the role it plays in our decisions and societal moral compass, the occult – through the visuals of tarot, history and how it is a continuous interweave – the echo of the past that propels us into the future, and mythos and the role it plays tucked into the nuances of life. She uses the vehicle of text, acrylics, and collage to express what to one may be chaotic to create order through the means of story.
She hopes you may find meaning and the feeling of connection by her words and creations.
Andrea lives in Fuquay-Varina, NC with her husband, 9-year-old daughter.
